 Talking about Public Awareness On The role World Science Day for Peace and Development.l would like to ask u all to be aware what science has done and in past, doing in present and will be doing in future too regarding development of the society and peace among nation. Science is such a miraculous tool that man has created which can be used both for good and bad cause but unfortunately in the lest few years it has been used for the destruction of our society.

Basically, It is an international day that highlights the important role that science has in society and is celebrated each year on November 10. It also highlights the need to engage the wider public in debates on emerging scientific issues.

The objectives of World Science Day for Peace and Development are to:-

1. Strengthen public awareness on the role of science for peaceful and sustainable societies.
2. Renew national end international commitment for the use of science for the benefit of societies.
3. Draw attention to the challenges faced by science and raising support for the scientific endeavour.

Now one question in your mind would be arising that

"What role did science play in the development of peace??" 

The answer to that question is .

Science successfully leads to Promotion of peace through the application of science should be inculcated in schools and colleges for the children and they should be taught about the importance of peace and harmony in our society, right from the tender age.

The usage of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki is a perfect example of how science can be misused for death and destruction if it goes into wrong hands. Science should be used for the betterment of society, improvement of the condition of global warming and reduction in climate change and other such noble activities that will help future generations live in corelation with nature.
